The piping mostly though. I went with the older style down pipes and z1 test pipes. I bought a ebay cat back for the piping. I didn't want to drop to much money because i planned on putting cut outs in for track days. Now cut outs are in and I ditched the ebay mufflers for Aero exhaust components and only have about 400 in the whole setup. I did all the work myself so that saved a bit.
But to be honest if your daily driving any thing a Z and a Mk3 aren't good choices. Z's need restored and mk3's have head gasket issues. So why not take the two grand and by a beater civic. Yeah not as stylish but easier to maintain and cheaper than dirt to drive. Put your projects on hold and get done with stuff that needs done and finish the toys later when you can afford to do them the way your want and it not put you in financial turmoil.
